Overcoming Procrastination
by phadeon on Apr.22, 2009, under Personal
I read a really good RSS feed regarding procrastination and perfectionism that got me motivated. I think this post has it correct that procrastination is one of the worst self destroying illness that someone can have. I luckily have someone that will push me and not, as she says sugarcoat the truth even if it offends or pisses me off. I guess that’s good because otherwise I would go through life thinking that I was doing the right thing all of the time. I guess this is my never ending battle since I have concurred my anxiety and panic disorders already, or at least pretty much only have one a month if that. Hopefully I will continue to stop procrastinating as I have a lot of projects that I’m working on and want to get them done as soon as possible and work onto the next. Wish me luck.
State of Play

I went and saw State of Play last night and it was o.k. I guess I’m bias because I like a large portion of the actors in the movie. My friend said that it wasn’t as good as they previewed for it to be in the trailor. I told him that’s what always happens. It did have the twist at the end that they said you wouldn’t see coming, but I was on the edge of my seat a good portion of the movie. The story line was very well played out and was very easy to keep up with. There wasn’t a dull point in the movie so it was very suspenseful. I guess I would give it 3/5 stars.
Obama meets with Mexico’s president
by phadeon on Apr.16, 2009, under Political
This has to be the biggest joke I’ve seen in a while on tv. Obama has gone to Mexico to help with the illegal weapons being smuggled into Mexico, but he mentions nothing about stopping the illegal immigrants from coming into the United States. We should continue to allow the weapons to go into Mexico until they stop the illegal immigrants from coming into our country. They are draining our economy. Just take a look at California. That state will never come out of the red. They are a lost cause. It amazes me that if someone downloads a baby in the United States we give them amnesty. How many times are we going to reward people for breaking the law? If that’s the case then just start rewarding murders, drunk drivers, child molesters. More people have been killed in the United States by drunk illegal immigrant drivers and illegal immigrant murders than have been killed in the Iraq war. Our country is going to hell in a hand basket.
